    Christine Chung, MD, is a world renowned musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologist, professor of radiology, clinical translational researcher, and the director of the UC San Diego’s MSK Imaging Research Group. She has recently been appointed as the Executive Vice Chairperson of Radiology, and continues to hold the position of Vice Chairperson of Academic Affairs in the UCSD Department of Radiology. She has successfully mentored undergraduate students, medical students, radiology residents, radiology fellows, post-doctoral candidates, and junior faculty. She has more than 175 peer review manuscripts in scientific journals. She has edited three MSK radiology textbooks. Dr. Chung was recognized for her excellence in research and was awarded the President’s Medal of the International Skeletal Society. She is a fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, and has served as the past Chairman of the Annual Meeting Program Committee of the ISMRM.
